How do I light the fireplace in my apartment?
I have a gas fireplace in my apartment and I'm terrified of blowing myself up! What's the safest way to re-light the pilot? There are no instructions anywhere but there is an off/on button and some scary looking knobs at the bottom.

if you look at the knob it should say pilot on it somewhere turn the knob to pilot and push in on the knob hold it in and light the pilot at the same time after pilot is burning continue to hold knob in till thermocouple gets hot about 30 secs ,slowly let out on knob pilot should stay lit, now slowly turn knob to the ON position and logs should come on
on by the way gas comes in 4 psi
