The experts at
ComstockStoves have
years of experience dealing with
freight. All of our
stoves are boxed and secured to a pallet for maximum protection. By building long-term relationships with only the
most reliable carriers, we have
shipped thousands of stoves across the nation for the
best rates possible, while maintaining
high quality delivery standards. We know how important your delivery is to you, and that is why we
quote each shipment individually. This allows us to
select the best carrier for your area and delivery situation. In many areas, the shipment will arrive in 4-5 business days and usually will not take any longer than 14 business days. Email us now for your individual quotation.
There are
three ways to deliver your shipment:
Will Call at one of our shipping terminals is easily the most
cost effective way to accept delivery of your new stove. Because we have such an extensive carrier network, we have
thousands of shipping depots all across the
United States, and most likely there is one just a short drive from your home. You will be
notified upon arrival of your shipment.
At the terminal, our carrier will load your stove safely into your vehicle.
A Commercial Delivery can be made to a
business address, usually for about the same
low rate as terminal will call pickups. If you have a commercial business address, this is a great option. All of our
carriers are set up for deliveries to businesses providing you have either a loading dock or a fork lift to remove the stove from the truck.
Residential Lift- Gate delivery to your home address is also an option. Our carrier will bring your new stove
to your driveway and unload it using a lift- gate on the back of the truck. Because our carrier
must arrange for a specific delivery date and time, and provide a lift gate truck for this type of delivery, there are
additional costs involved.
Upon arrival of your new stove, we ask that you
carefully inspect the shipment for any obvious damage. Because we choose to deal with only the most qualified carriers,
shipping damage is very rare. However, if there is some outward indication that shipping damage may have occurred (crushed or opened boxes) you have the right to further inspect the shipment before signing it into your possession. In the unlikely event that major shipping damage has occurred, we ask that you refuse delivery of that item and call us immediately.
We guarantee that your stove will arrive in perfect condition and we will replace any item where major shipping damage has occurred.
