At
ComstockStoves, each and every unit we sell includes a
full manufacturers' warranty. In general, the manufacturers' warranties cover
all electrical and mechanical parts for a period of
one year from the date of purchase. In addition, most manufacturers offer "
lifetime"
warranties on such items as
heat exchangers and the
steel firebox structure. Warranties do not cover basic maintenance items, misuse, neglect or abuse of the unit, or problems arising from incorrect installation.
ComstockStoves will honor each manufacturers' warranty, of any unit we sell,
for the full term specified by the manufacturer. In the unlikely event that your unit should require repair during the warranty period,
ComstockStoves will offer labor reimbursement and part replacement on any legitimate repair. Our technical team is very knowledgeable and highly trained to diagnose any problem that you may be having. There may be
a very simple solution to your problem, so
email us. Please have the following information available so that we can better assist you:
- Serial number of the unit and date purchased
- Manufacturer name and model
- Type of fuel (natural gas, propane, etc.)
Warranty
If it is determined that repair is necessary, we will ship any required replacement parts to you. The purchaser is responsible for the return of any defective part to Sales Unlimited. In order to ensure the return of defective parts, replacement parts will be charged to you and then reimbursed upon the return of the defective parts. A labor reimbursement fee may be paid to you based on the manufacturers' rate schedule for that specific repair.
Returns
If for any reason you are unsatisfied with your purchase, you may return the item(s) in original, re-saleable condition, in the original unopened packaging for a refund within 30 days of the original purchase date. You will be credited (less a 15% restocking fee and original shipping charges) upon the arrival, and inspection of the item(s) at our warehouse. The shipping charges to return the item(s) to us will be the purchaser's responsibility. Please call us for a return authorization number prior to return.
Liabilities
Because ComstockStoves does not manufacture any of the products that we sell, we shall assume no liability arising from the use, misuse or improper operation of any products purchased from us. We shall not be responsible for any amount other than that of the original purchase price of the product in question.
We reserve the right to change, at any time, the price, product selection or specifications of any item offered on our site.
